It's been a while since you've seen an announcement from me, so I thought an overdue top voters announcement would be perfect.
Stay tuned because I have another announcement coming soon, probably this weekend, regarding all of the updates that have been so far added to this season, including any new updates that I will be adding between now and the announcement.
For now, let's get right down to the top voters:
I want to say thank you to all of you who vote, and thanks to the top voters for your dedication to voting, each vote matters and contributes to the growth and success of the server.
Being limited to just 3 voting sites has made it such that everyone of the top voters for the past several months have been consistently reaching the max votes. I'm really happy that there's a lot of enthusiasm to vote, but at the same time it can also be unfair. As such, we've added 2 new voting sites.
Okay so we've had quite a few regular raid events in the past, so it's time to mix it up. This event will have no PvP involved, it will be entirely based on how quickly you can organise your faction to build your cannon and breach the base. Hopefully you guys like this, and it will give some of the smaller factions a chance to compete without pvpers.
Where: The event will be running at /warp raid on Red (You can spectate here if not competing)
Information: The base will have 80 walls exactly. This will be the usual combination of sand walls, cobble walls, obsidian walls, bedrock walls and filters. The first faction to breach the end base will recieve all the points and their respective rewards. The 2nd faction to breach will also recieve their respective rewards....
Aaaaaand we're back with some events! We're kicking this map off with a popular event I ran 2 seasons ago, so hopefully everyone enjoys this. While this isn't a pvp event it does require some thought and quick cannon building to make sure you win. For those who competed last time, you should have a better understanding of how to win this time
Where: The event will take place on Redin an arena which has been prepared
This is what the event looks like for those who missed it last map
Basically the aim of the game is to cannon your opponent off their platform. Platforms cannot be rebuilt and you can not move any further forward than you initial platform.
Information: There is a 64 player limit for this...
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! As you all know I said reset would be this month. In fact I really wanted it to be much earlier in the month but that didn't quite work out.
I know for many of you, season 3 was thoroughly disappointing because of its short lifespan in terms of player activity. Season 3 had a good start but quickly imploded and became stale due to a lack of interest in the server. There's a few contributing reasons for this, such as a lack of engaging content, nagging server bugs and at the center of it all: me.
Yep, I'm pretty much at the center of a lot of problems. I'm not as receptive as the community wants me to be, at the same time the community isn't as tolerable as I'd like it to be. I consider @Sudzzy one of my good...
This map has been forced to continue for much longer than it should have, for that I apologize. Unfortunately, I'm not here to drop the reset announcement, that's coming very soon. The purpose of this post is to announce the winners of season 3 as well as inform you of some stuff you should know.
I know season 3 had a very encouraging start but was quickly seeming hopeless early on in the map, I appreciate those who stuck around and tried to make the best of it. I always said I intended for it to be a short map, and it should not have gone on for this long. The reality is I wanted a reset very early on in the month, but circumstances prevented me from doing so.
With that said, I'd like to announce the Season 3 Winners:
